Yorkshire Terrier Puppy Adoption Contract
I, April Roberts (breeder), take a deposit of the amount of $________, the purchase price is $________ for the puppy AKC #__________________ gender _____________ from ____________________________(buyer). The deposit will hold or reserve the puppy until pick up date of _____________________and the remaining balance of $ _____________ to be paid in full on the pick up date. I do not accept personal checks. I accept Cashiers Check, Money Order, or Cash.
The deposit is a promise to buy the puppy. If for some reason the buyer changes his or her mind on the puppy named above, they can pick another puppy from teh same litter if one is availible. If they choose not to pick another Puppy, they will forfeit half of the deposit.
If you put down a deposit and you cahnge your mind or something comes up to alter beign able to adopt the puppy, half of the deposit will be refunded. If for any reason you are unable to take care of the puppy after you have purchased the puppy, I agree to take teh puppy back, this gives you a peace of mind that you have someplace that you can take the puppy if you are unable to take of it anymore. By returnign the dog you give up ownership of the dog to the breeder and no refunds are given.
Should the puppy become ill or have a life-threaten problem before leaving the premises of the breeder, then the buyer can pick a replacement puppy of equal value, when avalible. Puppies have a 48 hour guarantee to be checked by a licensed vet, anything life-threatening wrong with the puppy (provided that I recieve confirmation from a vet within 5 days of pick-up date) will be replaced when available of equal value. Puppy must be returned within the 5 days unharmed. Puppy will recieve frist vaccinations. Should the buyer postpone or delay pickup of the puppy there is a $5 per day boarding charge that will be added to the remaining balance and if the puppy needs further shotrs there will be a service charge of $50 for any extra shots needed to keep the puppy on their shot schedule.
The breeder reserves the right to sell or not to sell to anyone for any reason. All puppies are sold as pets with AKC papers; we do not guarantee the ablility of your puppy to breed or show. We do not guarantee size, color, temperament, hair coats, hernias, hypoglycemia, and hydrocephalus common in tiny puppies or to be fully potty trained and the buyer will be responisble in continueing their potty training. Due to travel, change in homes, environment, there is no guarantee that the puppy may need to be treated for stress. Age of placement is entirely up to the breeder. We keep most puppies till they are 6-8 weeks old.
Keep your AKC papers in a safe place, I charge a refilling/replacement fee of $20 and AKC chrages $20 fee also to replace papers; so the total is $40.
The purchaser is 18 years or older and has read and fully understands the terms of this contract and agrees to comply with them by signing the contract below.

Reserve Puppies

Reserve Deposits:
To reserve a puppy a deposit must be made. When a deposit has been made both parties agree to the deposit contract. (Which is located at the bottom.) The highlights of the contract are:
* The deposit is $200 of the purchase price (Most Breeders require 50%)
* Half of the deposit is refundable if you change your mind (Most Breeders do not let any of the deposit be refundable, we care that our puppies will be able to be taken care of and understand that cercomstances change.)
* The first person who makes the deposit will get first pick, second person gets second and so on. The puppy must be selected by 4 weeks old so that by six weeks when the puppies are able to be adopted, we will know which puppies-if any- will be able to be listed. (Most breeders offer this.)
